Silence

why so much silence
the moon shines in glory
how to traverse life
when it is already counting
my numbered days

The image is dark, brooding and powerful and your words seem to have emanated from its depths.
In response i offer some words too:

If it is silence it screams in protest

If it is a shadow it camouflages substance

It is space it contains a vast emptiness

If it is a continuum fragments pull it asunder

If it is the truth it is assaulted by contestations

It is reality it is beset with contradictions

It is inevitable it is inescapable.

To the Anonymous: Is another correction required?

i could have written
If it is inevitable it is inescapable but decided against it, at the risk of asymmetry.

So no further correction required but an attestation will be most welcome.
Thank you.
